Write a Novel in a Month

November is National Novel Writing Month (or something like that) and so I'm going to take the plunge and write A Wall for Zombies.  I'll be posting it to a Google Docs and then self-publishing it in early December.  Crazy, perhaps?  Anyone else want to write a novel this month?

  1. Yesterday I tried to ignore this, but today I may take a stab at it. The good or bad news is that I have literally nothing written, so the goal would be to begin and end the writing process in a complete month. Maybe a book of 5 short stories? I wanted to tackle a theme or make the stories interconnected. Just thinking out loud. So you need any help with the zombie shit?

  2. I would love feedback / editing. I'll share a Google Doc with you if you're up for it.

  4. Of course I want to edit it. Send it over and I'll get started ASAP. I'll do it at work and get paid a stupid amount to be a book editor.

  5. Zombies on Halloween??? AWESOME! I want in.

As for NaNoWriMo (http://www.nanowrimo.org/), I'm actually down. I found out ten minutes ago that my final project for British YA Lit class is a prolonged creative response to the subject, AKA: "write your own fairytale." So, bring on the coffee!

  6. What are you writing your fairy tale about? Sounds like fun to me.
